Exchange programmes

Sør-Trøndelag University College takes part in two major European exchange programmes - Life Long Learning/Erasmus and Nordplus. In addition we have a number of bilateral agreements of student and staff exchange with institutions in foreign countries.

Student mobility within the framework of exchange programmes enjoys full academic recognition throughout the European Union, and between EU states and countries belonging to the EEA, such as Norway. Full academic recognition means that the period of study abroad (including examinations and other forms of assessments) replaces a comparable period of study at the home institution. However, the contents of the study programme agreed on in a foreign country may differ from the one at home.
